I am not currently in-network with any health insurance plans. You may able to receive reimbursement for out-of-network services through your health plan. You can access a superbill through the client portal to submit to your insurance. If you are planning to seek reimbursement, it is important to contact your insurance plan to verify if and how much services will be covered. Full payment for sessions will be automatically collected at the time of service through your preferred payment method that is securely stored in the client portal.

*Required for all new clients

Why not insurance?

Insurance companies often set restrictions on therapy services including number of sessions, approach or interventions, or different coverage based on diagnosis. They also require lengthy paperwork and possible disclosure of your private information. I highly value providing the best possible care to my clients, and I believe working with insurance often limits my ability to do so.

In order to make my services as accessible as possible, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my practice. If finances are a significant barrier to therapy, please mention your interest in a sliding scale during your free consultation.

*All sliding scale spots are all currently filled

Is there a sliding scale?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
